GiGi
Can anyone tell me where to learn Business Communication, like writing correspondences, standard letters, reports, etc? I know i can learn from net but I hope i can have a teacher, tutor or mentor who can correct my writings. Sometimes, i feel frustrated that even though my grammar is correct, it is not effect to communicate with clients Please help and recommend places and/or teachers with prices! Thanks
Tony T
It's not likely you'll get many recommendations on this forum because we don't know where you live. But look up business schools in the phone book and that will be a start. Many public school systems have business curriculums in the high schools and night classes for those who work during the day. Call your local public school system for details or look in the business pages of the phone book under "Schools" or "Schools, Vocational."
Third Wheel
There are also a lot of books out there called "contemporary business writing" etc. that have sample letters for almost any situation. Even though I have a Bachelors in Journalism and a Masters degree, I still have to turn to these books for tough situations. I would go to the bookstore first and browse through some of the writing books available before getting a teacher. Even if you do get a tutor, I guarantee you will turn to the book again and again in your career.
