Daniel Posted September 29, 1999 Share Posted September 29, 1999 hi im the 18 year old who really likes the 23 year old who has a son. you can read the post "what do i do" below. well anyway, I asked her if she would eat something with me one day and all she said was "I dont know" (quietly). So all i got was an "I dont know". What the hell does that mean???? Why couldnt she just say no or hopefully yes. It makes it even more complicated than it is that she said "I dont know". So then I just said "Well think about it ok?" Then she seemed to nod yes but i couldnt tell. NOW what do I do??? When should I ask her if she's given any thought? What does "I dont know mean?" Does it mean she wants to say yes but cant cause she's afraid to have another relationship. Does it mean she doesnt want to take our friendship any further. Does it mean that she thinks im too old for her? Or does it mean just plain no??? AHHH PLEASE HELP. Link to post Share on other sites

You've made the offer and apparently your intentions known. There isn't much else left for you to do. Wait for her response and don't act as if she has decided already.
