Ok I admit it, I dont know how to initiate it

Recommended Posts

Little background: There is a girl that works in my department that I believe we have a mutual liking for each other but I know she would not make the first move. I am 19 and she is 24 about to finish college, I am scared she will not want to because I am just started college. We always laugh, smile, talk about personal stuff, and seem to just really get along. When we are working on something together she always gets really close. How can I ask her about going out or ask her to go out to find out if she is thinking the same thing. I am not so worried about the rejection but I just want to make sure she is thinking the same thing before I try something like this. How would you guys suggest initiating this relationship? To be honest I have never had a girlfriend, so I am not very good at this. Its not that im antisocial(well maybe I am I dont know) but I just dont have much experience with this level. Please help me out its been bugging me too much lately

Thanks a million!

Chris

Work relationships are always sticky...no matter how you look at it. I would treat her like a friend. If she is graduating and you just started college, there is a big gap there. A lot changes during those college years. She might be just be your "work friend." Those are great to have when things are getting rough at work or to have a person that you know you can get along with.

What kind of place are you working at? Is it a "college" job or something that is school related?
