Confuse

Im a Filipina nurse working in London while my lover is an American who doesnt have a job but has properties. I met him in the nursing home where Im working, he is visiting his uncle. He asked me for a date and it was brialliant then on our second date we get so physical touching and kissing but not intercourse.

 

After a few more days he flew back to the States and left his contact informations. Since then this is how our relationship goes, sometimes he come and meet me in London and sometimes i come and visit him in the USA.

 

My problem is its been 3 years now and i never heard him say he loves me, he always said he has feelings for me. I met almost all of his friends in the USA but he never introduce me to his own family (though i already knew them).

 

He said that he has a bad experience before with his parents in meeting his girlfriend so he doesnt want it to happen again. He said they always interfere with his lovelife and seem to choose the one for him that sometimes end up to an argument. I can feel his honesty and love but I just dont know when I will hear him say he loves me. We are both 36 years old now and we are both virgin.

Hey fellow Filipino! I just wanted to say a few things. Being at age 36 I hope you do understand how taxing it could be for someone in america to say 1-4-3. It is not like how it is in our culture. He does say he has feelings for you which is good. Since you have been seeing each other for 3 years now it could mean a couple of different things. He might not be ready to commit or is afraid, he could just be using you, or he really does love you its just he says it differently... I know it takes time to get to know someone but at the 3 year mark and still no sign of serious commitment... I think its time to sit and talk face to face with your partner and ask what your goals are together. God bless you with your relationship...
