Aunt thinks I am teaching my cousin to hate women

Recommended Posts

My 16 year old cousin was just dumped by his girlfriend and I gave a man to man talk. He was feeling great afterwards but then my aunt calls me up and chews me out saying not to teach her son that crap. My aunt is not a bad person but she doesn't understand man to man bonding and that is what was about with my cousin. I was simply telling him the truth that will prepare him for life.

Oh no. Don't tell me you gave him the 'Wog's Jaundiced View of All Things Female'

Good on the aunt. And, really, get help and deal with your hostility towards your mother.

Wog, please. The truth that you experience is based, in part, upon being abused by your mother and later your ex in what could have become catastrophic for you. You escaped from complete and permanent disabling damage by the skin of your teeth but you are not unscathed. Damage has been done, perceptions have been distorted and your wounds (some of which are fresh) have not begun to heal.

At least that is my POV.

If you want to get the most out of your short time on this planet please see a counselor regarding what is generally considered to be a distorted view of women.

Oh! Oh! I know! He said that women are all out for only their own interests, that they'll screw you over whenever they can and leave you a mere husk. That most are feminazi man-haters who just want to punish men. Right, Wog?

You were talking to a young, impressionable young man about women? That's like a pedophile running a daycare center! NOT a good idea!

Please tell me you didn't Woggle! Just because you had a bad expierence with your mother and ex wife doesn't mean that all women are like that. I had a bad expierence with one guy and that didn't doom me from all men. There are still some good women out there. Whether you want to believe it or not. Maybe that is what the Aunt was afraid you said and now her son is going to treat women like crap.

it is totally impossible for women to give men advice on women...

That's ridiculous! I recently gave my stepson advice on women. He said I was right on the money too. I told him what girls his age (19) can be like..what makes them tick. How do I know? Because I was once one myself! He said it was very helpful advice.

You may be able to tell him what makes little girls "tick" but you can't tell him how a dude gets into their pants and keeps them around.

Of course I CAN! I know all the guys' tricks and which ones I "fell" for and which ones I didn't!

Do you have a penis between your legs and massive amounts of testosterone in your brain? If you don't then you know zippo about men.

Thanks for trying Luv but it's a waste of time! I think I know more about men than Alf does! But he thinks I know "zippo!" Ha! I just laugh.

You say she can't give advice about women...

...then you say she doesn't know anything about men. I guess women don't know anything about people at all then.:o

alpha, do you have a vagina that we don't know about? according to you, one requires the proper genitalia to understand the accompanying husk.:p

unless you have dated women and been romantic with women then you really don't know what it takes, at least from a man's perspective. just like I am really not qualified to tell a woman what she needs to do to get and keep a man.

I don't need to date a woman to know what a woman wants and what makes her tick. It's ridiculous! Besides, you can't paint most of us with one brush. We're all different. But as a general rule, I'd bet my last dime that I can tell you more about how women "tick" than you can.

As far as your other statement...ha! You're always presuming to know what a women needs to do to get and keep a man! And of course, you're usually WAY off on that too!:p

Um. Then by extrapolation, unless you have a vagina between your legs, breasts on your chest, and estrogen in YOUR brain you don't know zippo about women.

Simple and logical surmise. However, it seems that the one you're trying to sell is 'unless you're Alf you know nothin' about nothin'.'

You can start teaching courses when you've been happily married for 20 years, ok?

I was telling him not to base his happiness on having a woman in his life and that often than not they will walk out on you and break your heart. I just telling him the truth that every man needs to know and my aunt gets her panties in a bunch. Unless gender relations change there are things he will need to know during his life. This is knowledge he can use. The funny thing is he was feeling better after our talk but his mother thought I was wrong for telling him this.

The thing though is that you do not date women and you are not a man so you don't understand how things are on our end. A man has experience in dealing with women and being a man in the modern relationship world so if he is honest with himself and he has open eyes he can give good advice to another man. A woman has a woman's point of view which is vastly different so she gives advice from that point of view which more often than not is no benefit to a man.

Actually, I think it's wise not to base your happiness on having any other person in your life regardless of what's between their legs. :D

And truth is, if you date a lot, your heart will get broken.

I know Woggle doesn't have the best track record with posts about women, but honestly, shouldn't we hear what the guy actually said first before jumping to conclusions because I've seen growth in Wog these past few months.

I certainly don't defend misogyny in any form, but I just don't see it here in any form other than preemptive presumption that can become its own self-fulfilling prophecy.
