Butterflying
I'll admit, I started this post after reading the thread about why people choose to be single. Right now, I'm single. I would like to be in a relationship. But I don't ever want to get married. The only valid reasons I think people get married is to raise children together, religion, society, and fear of being alone. Actually, people get married mostly for the same reasons that people choose to be single. Being single doesn't mean being alone. In fact, some of the loneliest people I know are married. quankanne
sometimes chosing to marry is chosing to take a chance on the unknown, because you can never really know the person you're getting yoked to. But, you've got faith in your attempts to make a go of it. that's why I chose to marry. However, if I hadn't have met my husband, I'm pretty sure I would have avoided marriage like the plague because it just didn't seem like something I ever wanted to try. I guess I got really lucky with him!
