how do i get rid of man boobs?

this is a quite embarassing topic. i have gained a bunch of weight over the past 2 years and with that, i now have, what at least to me are man boobs. i don't think it is that hormone imbalance because this problem wasn't as bad when i weighed less. i am in my late 20's and really need to find a solution to this. i am changing my lifestyle now, starting to eat more vegetables, almost completely cutting out beer, no more fast food, etc.

 

what i am wondering, what is the best and quickest method of dropping weight. from what i have read here and elsewhere, it would be best to drop body fat before working out and building muscle. a couple people here mentioned cardio is good for burning fat. what kind of cardio exercises in particular? i need some help as no insurance means no doctor and i am to embarassed to even take my shirt off in front of anyone, let alone women. this really isn't easy, but it seems people are here to help, not to poke fun.

Go and see your Doctor, there can be many causes of man boobs, and it would be a good idea to check it out.

All exercise can help burn fat. In fact, any activity will burn calories - the trick is to burn off more than you take in. So do things during the day like take the stairs instead of the elevator and park farther from the store when you go. Even if you spend your evenings watching TV, you can get up every ad and do some stretches or move around or even watch TV while walking on the spot or doing some other sort of movement.

 

Don't focus on speed. Focus on making lifestyle changes that will last a lifetime. Losing weight fast is no good to you at all if you take short-term measures to do it and then go back to your old ways when the weight's off. So find exercises you like and change your eating habits to healthy ones but do it gradually so that the changes become part of your life.

The best way is not the quickest way to lose weight. The longer it takes to shed the fat, the longer you will keep it off. You should start lifting weights in addition to doing some cardio. Muscle burns fat so the more muslce you have the quicker you will lose weight. Cardio takes longer to burn fat but you should still do it for the health benefits.

 

Start out slow like taking a walk. Gradually walk faster or go up hills until you are fit enough to start running. YOu can run a little then walk then run a little again until your body adjusts and gets used to it. Don't do anything too heavy so you won't get injured or discouraged. And continue eating healthy. Try to cut the beer out as much as you can because it will work against you. And good luck.

Cut out beer COMPLETELY until they're gone. That's the best way of ensuring you'll get rid of your man boobs. You've no idea how much of your healthy lifestyle is undone just by having 2 or 3 beers a week. Get to where you want to be, then go back to treating yourself to the occasional beer (or 10).
