dora
I met this guy online and he wants my phone number...he's coming home already (he was out of the country at a military base) and he wants me to send my number over the net! I am not trusting of this situation, sending that kind of info. through the net, but he's leaving this weekend...would it be unfair of me to ask him fo his phone number instead?? Tony T
Not only would it not be unfair but it would absolutely be preferable for him to give you his number. If you must call him long distance, remember, if you call him collect he will ultimately get your number on his bill. So just pay for the call. Long distance is pretty cheap these days. I don't think you can be careful enough with people you meet on the Internet. But there are some very nice people on the net and you don't want to miss the opportunity to meet them. Once the two of you have met in a neutral public place and you get to know him better, of course at that time it would be lots better if he could call you.
