Michael426
To put it simply, I am a slob. Nothing in my home is put away, there are clothes everywhere, dirty dishes, etc. Every so often I start to do something about it, but never follow through. What can I do to change this attitude/habit/whatever? I don't want to go to the opposite extreme and become anal, but just do better than I am doing. Right now the mess seems so overwhelming that it scares me to make an attempt.
superconductor
Hire a maid. Preferably a French one that will show up in one of those teeny outfits. Send pics.
Pedro
Just take the clean up one day at a time make it a duty not to let it get any messier than it already is. Than start getting rid of the clutter one small section at a time. Maybe one day you just do one messy corner, the next day you just clean a bit of the kitchen. set up a battle plan and stick to it. You could give yourself some pressure by inviting people over a week in advance for a get together at your place, but that could back fire if the pressure of guest coming over still isn’t enough to get you to clean it. Well good luck
