I have been in a LDR for about a year. I am head over heels in love with this girl.

However, a few months ago, my girlfriend decided that the distance was getting to be too much. She suggested we take a "break" and see what else is out there. We still talk very often, and I think about her everyday. We have a very emotional, deep relationship but the distance was getting to her.

I have never been so close to someone in my life. I think about moving out to where she is every single day so we can rekindle the relationship.

Well anyway, so last night, I was out with some friends, and I ran in to some girl I used to know and we ended up going back to her place and fooling around, we did some stuff but we did not have sex. Well anyway, afterwards, I started to feel so guilty, like I did something wrong. I even threw up this morning from the feeling.

I know that some people will think this is perfectly acceptable since this girl basically told me to date other people and to see what else is out there, but I love her, and I feel like maybe this whole thing was a test and I should be loyal to her. Do I have to tell her about what happened?

Well, you don't have to, but would it cause problems if you didn't? Would you not feel more guilty, and want to tell her? If I was in your situation I would tell her, and take the rap. At the end of the day, she was the one that suggested seeing what else was out there, so she can't really get angry at you for managing to do that first!

Dude, she is the one who suggested you take a break. Chances are, she's already fooled around or more anyways, or else why say it? If you really love this girl, think about if you wanna be with someone who encourages you to fool around with other people and probably is doing so herself.

When a chick says "I wanna see what else is out there" chances are she already has and shes probably put it inside her as well.
