Is she interested? What does whe want?

So I've been a few dates with this girl and I'm definitely interested in her and I think she's interested as well but I'm not positive . We've been out on 2 dates thus far and I'm having some problems reading the signals. I'm not sure if she is just wanting to hang out as friends or if there is something there. Our first date was really fun... We determined we had alot in common, knew many of the same people, and were able to catch up on some time since high school (about 6 ago). I really want more out of the "relationship" we have, but again, I'm not sure what she's thinking. For a second date, we went on a double date with a friend of mine and his girlfriend. They have been together for a few months and are quite involved. So of course, they had the whole hand holding, small kisses here and there thing going on. I would really like a relationship out of this and something more than just friends but I'm not sure what she's thinking but I did realize that after seeing them, she was looking for a little more affection that night (holding hand, my arms around her, etc) but since I'm unsure as to what she is thinking I haven't done any of the like. So I probably suck at reading signals, I know. We're going out again for sure and already have plans for it and I'm thinking I just need to test the waters and see if I get some pushback from her with something more than just a few hugs.

 

I'm a little rusty on the whole relationship thing for sure and haven't really been in any situation where I didn't know if something was there or not. Do I just test the waters? Do I ask her what she's thinking?
