Guest
If you had strong feelings for a girl that you've known for a while, and you wanted them off your chest and into her head, but you were about to leave for a school venture for one year and knew that even if she shot the same feelings back at you that you couldn't be with her at least until you returned, would you tell her about it for honesty's sake and to ensure that you didn't leave without her knowing truthfully what you think of her and what she means to you? I'm thinking I ought to just be up front, though I know the timing wouldn't be the best. Y'all think honesty would be the best even in these circumstances? I don't want to tell her how I feel in order to try to have her wait for me, rather.... I think I worry that if I don't, then leave, she'll never really know how I see her. Guest
I'm in exactly the same situation with a guy. I want to get it off my chest but I'm quite scared, and I think it'll be pointless because I know he's cooled off me, despite the fact that he was sending positive signals before. *sigh*
TJettman
I know it's hard, I'm trying to build up the courage to do it myself. But the majority around here (and I think they are right) seem to think that being honest is the best way. If they say no, at least you know and don't keep wasting your time. I imagine that like me, your biggest fear is moving on without them. Sometimes life can only continue that way.
