You're right. It's NOT so easy as you say. I was 33 before I met the type of man you describe. Some have to wait a lot longer than I did...and some, sadly, never do at all. But good things never do come easily.

I really appreciate what you're saying, B4 (and thank you) but the fact of the matter is that I really had a hard time finding the right man. Yes, ok I'll admit I had many choices..maybe some of us have a wider pool of people to choose from but so what? If the pool is filled with sharks what the hell good is it? It's STILL like finding a needle among a haystack to find the right one..just as it is for anyone.

So let me see if I got this right now. You can have a "twin flame" (why oh why does that make me laugh:laugh: Err...sorry.) So you can have a twin flame but the "twin" doesn't know that they're your twin flame and they have to leave you to go off and work on karmic stuff? Hmmm...have to think about that one.

Sometimes, upon first sigh, you can also tell, too, though that is rare.

 

So, it is possible Ariadne knew, but that he didn't. And besides, even if they both knew, it doesn't mean it would be perfect.

 

They would be perfect for each other, but life is still there.

 

So, while he may have been her twin soul, he first needs to sort out through his things, which may be karmic or not.

 

At least, that's how I understand it.

This is why you are mistaking compatability with this metaphysical notion of soulmates.

 

Believe me, if they had something significantly wrong with them physically you would'nt sense the presence of their "soul" so strongly.

And yes, I felt it for sure and for certain. Something I never felt before in my life. I knew I never wanted to leave his side.

 

I could be just near him and know everything he was thinking, feeling, everything... without even looking at him. And being with him was magic, there's no other way to describe. Just touching him was pure ecstasy. And when we looked in each others eyes we knew "everything" about each other. Is like his eyes were endless. We talked with the eyes. I felt absolutely sure that that was it. We were alike, in everything, even our past matched completely.

 

But, he denies it all (?), and went for a girl that has absolutely nothing to do with him as far as spirituality.

 

But I know that he'd never be happy with me unless he resolved his situation with her, since he was bound on a promise. He was infatuated, that is my reasoning for this.

 

And yes, he wouldn't feel "in love" with me because for her he felt the butterflies, with me he felt peace. So I know why he said that, too.

 

I wonder how happy he is now, I saw a picture of his that she posted in her blog (when she said she was the luckiest girl) and he looked sad to me.

Well,

 

It was a weird situation and I have and old thread here that tells all about it, but I wouldn't bore everyone again repeating that.

 

Basically he asked a girl to marry, she said no, and he said that he'd be patient and wait for her till she was ready.

 

Then we met, it was incredible, and he backed away as fast as he could, while at the same time we couldn't stop talking to each other. We wrote books.

 

He kept telling me how he was confused, and that he was in love with "her"...

 

Then they got together, got engaged, she told him not to talk me me ever again, and that was it .

The last email I got from him was on April 13th, where he told me that he was going to go on a bike ride.

 

And then is like he died.

 

After that I got an email from her (at his request I imagine) telling me that he wouldn't talk to me again because she told him so.
