We been chating for some time now, and she sounds like a nice, friendly, and fun person to be around. Can you please give me any suggestions on how can i meet her in person. Drop in the conversation in a light way that you could get together for coffee/lunch one day if she would like to and see where it goes from there. If the subject drops do not mention it again. Even better, if one day you are talking about places (pub, club, parks, libraries, anything) in the city you like to go to, and if you find out if there is a place you both go to sometimes, mention something like "I'll be there tomorrow/saturday/the 21st/any day of your choice, any chances to bump into you?" DeeBrod83 Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I'd say you'd be safe to say that if you go with a friend and she goes with a friend, than she doesn't have to feel intimated by meeting you for the first time and you being some creep. But I'd bring it up casually like you're just going to be at a (bar, resturant, show) out by her and she should come! I think you're best bet is to keep it light so you don't scare her. Yoohoo Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I agree, keep it light... one trick is to say something like "I'm going for coffee at <Local Cafe>, I guess you can join me if you like" and if she says yes, tell her "let's keep it short, like 15 minutes, that way, if you're really creepy or weird, I don't have to stay around too long" Most girls will crack up at this because its exactly what they are thinking and it turns the situation around.
