insomnie
I always wonder about how other people feel about the chances for a happy, successful marriage between college sweethearts. Those who date in college and marry 2-4 years after graduation. Still too young/INEXPERIENCED for things to work out? Of course it would depend on the individulas involved, but any thoughts on the averages/chances?
Brittanyjean06
You know it really doesn't matter on age, though I would love to hear about peoples marraiges falling apart because it makes me feel better about my ex getting married. haha You could be inexperienced but don't let all the hype talks about divorce from marriaing to young get you scared. Author insomnie
Thanks for replying Brittany! It isn't that I'm scared. I'm still only 20 and niether of us are even thinking marriage at this point. I posted because with this guy it's like my fingers are crossed that it WILL work out that way between us some day, and I wonder if I'm being naive. Sometimes I look at him and think, ahh, my future husband. Other times, I look at him and wonder whose future husband it is I'm lovin, and how he'll remember me in 30 years. superconductor
Who knows? It's a crap shoot. I personally know of a couple that got married right out of high school. She was 19, he was 18. This past year they celebrated their 27th anniversary. You just never know.
Guest
I know how you feel. 25 years ago I use to look at my bf like "wow if he could be my husband". He didn't marry me and I still love him and wish he were my h now although I am married to someone else. Who know what the future holds.
