I gotta a friend that has a fugly wife and has screwed fugly women to just get a different flavor from time to time. He calls his side "jobs" whores and sluts...... they are just holes to him. so all in all its fortunate that you were able to get rid of the guys with that kind of mentality.. Ugly women have to try harder, they have to be nicer, more understanding and less demanding because that is what works for them. Men look at beautiful women, but will sleep with and ugly woman if she gives him the attention he craves. My husband was a drinker who cheated with two VERY unattractive bar whores. He is now sober and has related to me that it wasn't about their looks, it was about he felt with them. He could go to the bar, drink, party, raise hell and they were happy to be with him and encoraged his behavior, didn't see anything wrong with his drinking (of course they both have drinking problems as well). He would come home to me, nice looking, trim and fit, but I was bitchin' to high heaven because he was at the bar again, didn't let me know where he was for hours, was drunker than a skunk, told him he was a "worthless piece of ****" and then I would leave him for days at a time. Well heck, that isn't too hard to figure out now. They made him feel good and stroked his ego, ugly or not, they were feel good women. I on the other hand, he loved, but I was a real downer and flamed his desire to find acceptance and that ego boost. I took his ego (and I am not blaming myself, just having better understanding of why) ground it into the dirt, and at the time I felt rightly so because I had no understanding of alcoholism. a4a Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 so all in all its fortunate that you were able to get rid of the guys with that kind of mentality.. well I only had that one time...... probably because I had already disengaged from the R and it was just the logistics of getting out..... the cheat happened and I really did not care.... actually made it easier for me to dump quicker without guilt So yes I suppose it was quite a blessing. I dated two guys just because I felt sorry for them.... true..... spent the entire time trying to boost their confidence and help them move on.
