quietintrovertgirl
I'm a virgin and i'm tired of meeting the wrong men and i would like to meet other virgins in my area.Should i advertise in the newspaper saying i'm looking for fellow virgins ?
lone she-wolf
NO!!!!!!!! Men could lie too easily about being a virgin (sorry guys). Also, what if you draw in some wierdo with a virgin fetish? I think a better idea could be to join a message board of this nature and take your time getting to know some of the people who post, without actually advertising yourself. Maybe you could weed out the scammers. Maybe they would have group meet-ups or something. Even then it is still tricky. GOOD LUCK!
Touche
Uhm....this isn't a dating site. Why do the guys you want to meet have to be virgins too? Just curious.
SoCalCatman72
Oh God no, especially not in California........... Just make it clear that you are not interested in "hooking up" and stand by your convictions. You'll weed them out, but to use a worn out saying... "you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince"
Author quietintrovertgirl
I'm really torn on this issue because I want to meet men who will except my sex with commitment views.I also want to befriend other virgins in my area because The virgins i've met online don't live in California. I just want to meet men who understand me right now.
SoCalCatman72
You know, I understand better than you may think, as I have made a similar decision in my life, and there are times when I feel like my beliefs tend to drive away some women that I am interested in. There have been many times when I have considered caving on my position, just because I'm tired of being alone. I will tell you that there are men out there who will accept your position, you just have to look a little deeper to find them, as they are generally not out "playing the field". I should also admonish you that just because someone is a virgin, doesn't necessarily mean that they have the same point of view as you, they might simply be looking for someone to help relieve them of the "v" card. It can be a frustrating road to travel, but having the courage of your convictions sometimes means having to face the world alone. Good luck to you, and stay strong. I just want to meet men who understand me right now. The person who can figure out how to acomplish this with certainty will be very rich indeed.

But I can't imagine that a 35 year old male virgin is a common thing. No offense or anything. But it's not like there's clubs out there or anything so it's a bit complicated... Author quietintrovertgirl
socalcatman72, Thanks for the support. My virginity is not the issue for me.The issue is i'm having problems finding men to date in California. I just wish i hate better luck dating men.I see virgins online giving up and having sex with the first man that walks into their life.I could never do that and that's why i'm alone. blind_otter
blind_otter, Church!!I'm nonrelgious:laugh: Well that's about the only place I can think of. I would be a little weirded out to meet a man in his mid thirites who is a virgin. Not because I think virginity is a bad thing, but because men are socialized VERY differently from women and the sexual act is a VERY different thing for men. And of course, you can't really tell if a man is a virgin, even if he has horrible technique and no rhythm whatsoever, he could just be a bad lay. Lord knows I've had plenty of those. I would be creeped out anyways. Just knowing the implications. I would be very wary unless the man had abstained for religious reasons. JMO, though, take it with a grain of salt. blind_otter
SoCalcatman72, The edit tip didn't work. Unless you've been a member a long time (like me) you can't use the private message feature, but a way around that is to pay for loveshack membership, and then you get all the features that the longtime members get, plus a few extra (ad free viewing option)
