Bleeding from awkward place

Recommended Posts

Hey...I don't know what to do...But I'm really scared.

Recently I have started bleeding...from the upper region of my butt. You know just where the crack starts, just under my lower back, right there, it started bleeding and I took a look at it and I saw a little pimple-kind ball, kind of thing you get when you get burnt or something, I touched it and it's like it's full of water or somethin, I don't know, but it bleeds and it hurts and I can't lie down on my back at all. I don't know what to do but it's really gotten to me, and I'm really scared. Please any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.

Go see a doctor. ASAP.

I know it's going to be tough not to think the worst, but it could be nothing. I had blood in my feces awhile back. I was scared ****less (esp. since my family has a history of prostate cancer), but it turned out to be an anal fissure.

Get it checked out by a professional. Don't hestitate. Make an appointment with your doctor or go to a clinic now.

Sounds like it could be a blister or a boil? Call your doc's office in the morning, or if your insurance company provides a Nurse help line, call there and tell them your symptoms. Try ice for the pain.

There's no pain when I walk or anything, it's just there's very slight discomfort when I lie down on it and I keep trying to avoid lying down on my back, and I don't really have a doctor, I just go to this doctor once a year for a checkup.

So call that doctor. DO NOT LEAVE THIS. I've known people to have things like that and they got infected and needed an operation. Get that butt to a doctor FAST.

Well, go to him/her and get this checked out. Don't make excuses, don't wait, get it done ASAP. Even if it is nothing, you'll at least have the peace of mind once you get it checked out.

Sounds like a boil or something like that. If it just showed up it's probably not serious, but get it checked out anyways.

You are growing a tail obviously...... :p:lmao:

No my H had this something in the exact same spot and it is common. It was actually an ingrown hair. Causes a boil type thing... the doc will slice it open and take care of it for you. You do not even have to take your pants all the way off.... no stitches were required just a little gauze and and he was told to sit in the bath tub and soak that eve.

H did not need any pain relief during or after the removing. Took about 3 minutes to fix.

I still tease him about the scar where they cut his tail off.

Look this up and see if it applies to your situation and seek medical help for it.

I am certainly no doctor- but would that not be an infection risk?!

not if the tub is clean :lmao: :lmao:

This happened before our existance together. If I were around he would have made me do the slicing on his ass. :lmao: :lmao: The things he makes me do for him...... :lmao: :lmao: sutures too......:lmao: :lmao:

Often with an abcess you will soak it to draw out more of the infected yuck goo.... I deal with this quite a bit with animals, horse hooves drilled or sliced to allow drainage and always soak them.... doc will probably prescribe an antibiotic for an abcessed cyst I would think.

I would be more worried about poo in the area than the tub germs. :lmao:

I am not a doctor, but I am 99% sure you have a pilonidal cyst. Google it and see exactly what it is. It is a boil type infection in that area. It is caused by sweating and other icky stuff in that area. It is impossible to keep that area as clean as it should be when you have an infected hair or boil. You can have it drained so many times, then if it keeps recurring and is very painful you need to have surgery to remove it completly.

Your mom gave birth to you - she knows all about gross. So do doctors. ;)

Don't worry about it and just tell her.

I'm amazed at the number of people giving diagnosis on the net. We can all speculate.. But this is not really a helpful thing to do. i'm not trying to strike fear into the OP.. but go to the hospital immediately. Best case scenario is you are treated/diagnosed on the spot and can walk out soon after. Don't try to convince yourself you are okay.. Find out for certain.

Good luck to you.

Doctor said it's a cyst or whatever...he said it's not dangerous at all and I shouldn't be worried. He also said the specialist will take care of it so it never comes back again.

it sounds like a cyst . it will go away. after it comes to a head it will bleed and it is painfull. 15 years ago i had a pimple come on the crack of my butt at that time i was pregant. getting in a hot tubb of water will help. it will bust open. dont worry you are ok. if you have any concerns go to the doctor.

Moral of the story - whenever your body does something wierd GO SEE THE DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY!!! It would have been cured much more easily if you had gone right away. Remember this for the rest of your life. Even a lot of cancers can be cured if they are caught early.

I wonder why he didn't just tell you to go to the drug store and buy CystAway, the anti-cyst ointment. You should go ask your pharmacist about it. If he's never heard of it, ask about CystBlaster suppositories.

I don't think surgery is necessary.
