Things to do BEFORE Marriage....

Recommended Posts

It's also been said that married men live longer than unmarried men.

That may be true, but married men are a lot more willing to die. :)

I agree with all so far especially the sex stuff. Also, never ask your SO questions about their sexual past that you will resent/use against them later on!

1. Make sure you can communicate well with them.

2. For goodness sake please date them longer than 1 year. :D

*mumbles to self*

why people date for 1/3/6 months and say he/she is my soul mate is beyond my realm of comprehension...

If you can't do all those things after marriage, marriage sounds like a death sentence to me.:p

As a woman I'm really not seeing any advantage to being married either. More mess, more laundry, more problems.

Once I was a romantic and believe love would conquer all then I got married and experience a does of reality. I think marriage is a bad idea overall, however for the survival of our species it seems a necessary evil. It has been said, and I am a firm believer of the following statement that when a man marries a women he marries her in the hopes she will never change; When a women marries a man she is hoping he will change into the man of her dreams. Both the man's and woman's beliefs are unrealistic.
