No Lovestruck, you definitley strike me as a very "mature" and respectful adult

 *sigh* Well, burning, if she's going to be saying things to me that are just as bad....I'm not going to sit here like a robot am I?

No-one wants you to act like a robot Lovestruck. It's just that there is a line between arguing your point of view and being somewhat meanspirited.

And youu don't think Touche is being meanspirited??

Ha...*closes briefcase*...wow....who would have thought that by someone barging into a thread and throwing around the things that she wrote wouldn't be mean spirited?

*laughing as walking out the door*...

I'm laughing with you Love, I'm laughing with you:laugh:

Have a good one!

And sorry for "throwing" around the notion that it's a terrible idea to choose your life long mate at 17! Didn't think that was being mean-spirited! Silly me!

I just think you have a tendency to voice your opinions and only that opinion is right, according to you.

Sometimes it doesn't hurt to LISTEN to others and what they have to say...hell, sometimes THEY might be right.

I'm not saying either of us were at fault here, and I'm not pointing the finger at you, but just be considerate to other thoughts and opinions.

I haven't "chosen" him as my life long mate, although I am hoping he is. It's not like I have thrown my life away already. I don't have kids and I'm not married....I don't plan to do these things until my 20's...mid-20's...

Maybe I am wishing my life away, maybe I am already aware of what I WANT, and these thngs may not ever come to me....but everyone has aspirations and goals right?

Well mine is to stick with what I've got at the moment for as long as I can. I am HOPING this is forever, although I am not guaranteeing anything, or being 100% positive that I am right.

Nobody can be right in this situation I don't think. Some people believe it's a good idea to have kids at a young age, others don't.

You can't argue with people's beliefs. It's their life, and they'll live it like they want to. If they end up screwing up, well, atleast they experienced it. But really, what is the right way to live? When is the right time to have kids, get married? All of these age bands are brought on once again by majority of society. It is considered "normal" to statr a family around the age of 25, say? Why? Why not 18? Why not 40?

People choose the way they live to suit their lifestyle....you can't argue with that. NO-one can.
