jt7054
So, totally not a big deal, Im just curious because Ive dealt with other things like this in the past. Been doing the internet dating thing on and off for a while so Im used to goofy things going on. Started emailing with someone last week and we both seem interested. She asked for my number and I gave it to her. She then said thanks, Ill call you sometime over the weekend (this was on Thurs). So no call Fri or all day Sat. She then called me Sat night at like 9pm when I was out to dinner with friends and couldnt really pick up. I had an email waiting when I got home saying that she tried to call me and got voice mail with a sad smiley face thing. She did leave a vmail, but it was really brief and didnt even ask me to call back or leave her number. Anyways, I emailed back saying I was sorry I missed her call and that I was out to dinner with friends and couldnt have returned her call until at least 11pm and I didnt know if I shouldve called that late. I asked if we could talk today and what her schedule was like. Got a really short reply this morning saying that she had plans with family and that she try to reach me some other time. This was way different from her other emails. Really short and blunt. Did I say something in the email to put her off? She didnt say when shed call so its not like Im going to sit around all weekend waiting for her call. Any thoughts/opinions? Like I said, no biggie really, Im more just curious about what other people think on this one. Im actually a little put off myself at this point because its like shes trying to keep things in her court by leaving everything up to her as to when we can talk on the phone.
