Should I propose?

I've been having a long distance relationship with this woman for around 1 year now... I really like her when I talk to her over the phone... She's the sweetest, and nicest person I've known. I think she will make a great wife, and and awesome mom... She's ok in bed.

 

As for her physical appearance, I think she is average. I am little concerned about how we will look together in society. I don't mean to boast, but, I am considered to be very good looking. She is sensible, matured, and a very down to earth woman. She gives me all the space in the world, likes me like crazy... and her parents are also pretty fond of me.

 

I am concerned that I am thinking too much about the nicer things she has to offer, and am overlooking her physical attributes... Also, what if I lose interest in her soon... If I was marry someone I was passionate about, she would not be the person, but, in terms of being a wife and a mom, she is everything I have wanted... just not as hot.

I do not see anywhere in your post that you say you love her. You may like her, but don't propose marriage unless you are in love with her.

You're way too worried about how her physical appearance stacks up to yours and you don't think she's hot - do not ask her to marry you. She deserves to be with someone who thinks she's fantastic and can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her.

How many times have you met her in person? Other then that I would say don't do it. You are way to hung up on the way you guys will look to the rest of the world and that isn't a good step to start a marriage on.

I am with everyone esle on this one don't propse. You are way to caught up in apperances and if you have to worry about whether or not you will lose intrest in her then you are obviously not ready to propose.
