My ex and I for three years. broke up 3 months ago. It was a mutual and very decent break up, simply we were on diffrent pages, having some figuring out what we wanted why we were fighting for lil stupid things so we decided to stay friends. Obviously the "friends" thing has been impossible we have talked pretty regularly, and only seen eachother 3 times since our break up and two of those times we have slept together. Last time I saw time I saw him was this passed weekend, and it was one of those times mentioned above we slept together. He told me I was beautiful, we had a great time. After he leaves he calls me and we talk a lil, he says he respects and still cares for me so he cant just sleep with me and not call and talk to me (which is true from both of our parts) I know he loves me alot but I dont think he is in love anymoree .. so I ask him if he felt anything while we were making love and he said yeah a little.....so that hurt (but I dont know if he just said that to not get my hopes up cause he is still not ready to be with anyone) then we talked about some of our problems in our relationship and how we still havent learned to surpass some things.. which is true.... However here is where its gets confusing... then he says that I also lived a little too far to be taking that drive all the time. Note*** I live 25 min. away and we would only see eachother on the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So this just sounds as he is making excuses....I cried a lil.. we spoke and ended the conversation on good terms.. but I could not get over his "driving excuse" (which is so not like him because he really is not an ass, which is why im so shocked) So I finally started no contact after that conversation!!! He has been calling and texting like crazy and its so hard because he is a great guy and I love him. So I gave in and broke the no contact, I wrote him a text saying, hey i gotten ur messages but been a lil busy... so he tried calling but i didnt answer and i just wrote again, he im busy, and have alot on my mind. we will talk later. so is it ok to start the no contact from here on or what should I do?? I feel like I have to dissapear with out reason or explanation to give him a wake up call!!! Im I doing the right thing, or do guys just get tired eventually and just give up on a girl???
