sapphire0903 Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Hey guys, I have posted before, my situation so I wont repeat too much but I will break it down Have been dating a separated man (2years) He began seeing me and his wife(about 7 mths ago) I broke off intmacy (4 weeks now) 10 days ago we both agree to remain friends, not NC but still he wants to remain friends and do stuff together. Okay, so last night around 5:30 he calls me DRUNK and asks me to come over. I told him I would have to get back to him. So when I did, (about 2 hrs later) he is sleeping, (according to his best friend and neighbor) I have not heard a peep from him, I left him a message on his answer machine yesterday from when I called him back, but nothing more. Why would he do this? My guess would be he was drunk, at his apartment (which he moved into when he separated) missed me, but if he were sober, he would not have called. I dont know. I do know I miss him. When I called last night though, I was planning to tell him that "I am still sad from all of this,(breaking up) and am not sure that seeing you will help but just prolong this sad feeling about us" Oh well, did not get the chance to. I am sure it sounds like I am rambling, just thought I would get my feelings out, and hope to get a little feed back. Link to post Share on other sites

Probably the best way to avoid him calling you, drunk or not, is to go NC with him. Drunk or not if he feels you all are still "friends" he might feel its ok to call for some action. JMO. Guys who call at 5 am while they are drunk and want to see you in person to beg you to get back together with them and declare eternal love to you are *much*more likely to ask you if they can come over (or to directly show up at your place without warning, ringing your bell at 5.15 am) than to ask you to come over.
