Guest Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 I just turned 30, and am beginning to gain a lot of weight. I have to work long hours, and so, sometimes end up eating fast food, which kills me... I am trying to control my diet, but, the weight gain is spiralling.... I am not depressed or anything, but, am just very tired from work... I was wondering if anyone has tried Yoga to calm themselves, and relax... The problem is that I cannot cut down on my work, and so, am wondering what others have done to deal with this. Thanks. Link to post Share on other sites

The breathing and the concentration on the different poses makes your brain focus on something other than your stresses. And as you gain proficiency and get into and hold the more difficult poses, you'll find that your strength and balance increase - it can be a good workout. Link to post Share on other sites
