lovebug76 Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 An old boyfriend from high school found me about a month ago on myspace. When we dated in high school it was a short period of time, both were rebounds but ended on a decent note. It has been 13 years since we have seen each other, but the fact he found me and contacted me says something right? I have always wondered about him and funny about a month before he got on myspace I searched for him. Well its been a month since then and we have been talking everyday online. There has been no phone contact, yet(once on the computer for just a minute) but both of us are not phone people to begin with. The emails have been going back and forth like crazy. Up to 12 a day. It has been a lot of fun catching up with him, and of course all my old feelings have come back up. It turns out we still have so much in common, and even the same belief's and opinions on almost everything. For the last month I have felt like I am in high school all over again. We both have aknowledged we think the other is attractive, and little comments about remembering kissing each other. There is a possiblity of maybe getting to see each other next month but it is very iffy with work schedules. Which I think would be great to see how we interact face to face. There have been no comments made about dating or being a couple, but I just wonder if things could really work in our favor now that we are older. Only problem is we do not live in the same state, we are about 1000 miles apart. I don't know what else to put here this is my first post, but I would like people's opinions...Should I allow myself to get my hopes up that something may happen with us, or is this just an old friend trying to catch up. I mean you had to have been on his mind for him to contact you. Just stay focused on getting to know eachother again..not so much on the "what ifs" Ya know? Good luck.
