pink elephant
I am a single female and have been for a long time searching for a quality man that fits me like a puzzle. I have dated, but very few men seem to light a spark in me bringing glow to my face and a kick in my step. But here is what happened to me this past week: A couple of years ago I used to frequent a restaurant close to my workplace with my colleagues. There was a charming man working there (it was obvious he was the owner) and my friends all of which were married/dating used to admire this guy saying I should talk to him. There was something about his aura that was unforgettable. Everytime we went to eat there, my friends wanted me to talked to this guy, but I was too shy to say anything. I later left that job and never went back to the restaurant. Two years later, through a business colleague I met him this past week as there is a possibility that I could work with him (my company and his). I was absolutely taken. His 'aura' was just the same as I remembered it to be and I was just smitten. Little does he know I admired him from afar and knew of him before we met in person. I find it bizarre and even surreal to have crossed paths with him - what are the chances? Is this destiny calling or just plain coincidence? I have waited for someone for so long and he feels right even though I don't know him and we've only exchanged a few words. The caveat -- he mentioned he has a girlfriend. I don't know what to do because I want to pursue something with him but two things are stopping me: a) girlfriend b) potential good business relationship. How do I handle this situation? Good people are hard to find so I am unwilling to just let this slide by. I'm in a bind and any advice or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, Looking for Real Love
norajane
he feels right even though I don't know him and we've only exchanged a few words. It's that kind of fantasizing that sets people up for broken hearts. This man has a girlfriend and you're likely to end up doing some kind of business together - for both those reasons, you need to step back and forget the whole fantasy you've built around his 'aura'. magichands
The caveat -- he mentioned he has a girlfriend. That's not a caveat, it's a STOP sign. Your puzzle doesn't have any missing pieces.
TheSilentType
No don't do it. I also believe in destiny to some extent, but I don't think this is your destiny calling. You are only interpreting it as such because you have had trouble finding someone. Don't read anymore into this, or you will start ramping up all kinds of feelings and ultimately set yourself for great disappointment
