I was just wondering how me, a Black woman could approach White and Asian men. I guess I'm very pretty, not being cocky but thats what people say, and usually I catch White and Asian men checking me out but they seem intimidated. . . .:o

1. Be sweet.

2. Be nice.

3. Be intelligent.

4. Have a sense of humor.

Get my drift?

Any guy worth your time shouldn't care that you are black, white, or whatever.

Don't be a "good black woman".

Be a good WOMAN.

The right man will find you.

Trust me. I've been with white girls, black girls, spanish girls, it's all the same. NONE of them enjoyed it. lol

Holla' back! :)

Well... if you look anything like Alicia Keys... I'd go out to coffee with you tommorrow. ;) Heck, I'd even buy a plane ticket.

She looks white to me. . .but I look basically like Gabriel Union. . .

If your cute he will notice you no matter your race.

Just smile and say hello to the object of your interest.

I just seems that most American men perfer not to date black women, thats why I think they dont approach.

lol. Okay. You got me. What kind of coffee do you prefer?

Honestly though... the other posters are right. It shouldn't matter one iota what you look like. Just be yourself and you'll be fine.

It could be the geographical region you are in as well. Attitudes are different throughout the country. If I were available I'd date a black woman without hesitation, without consideration of her race but with consideration of who she is as a person.

I agree with the posters that have said approach the men you're interested in first and be approachable yourself. :)

I agree location does make a difference. I guess white men are very intimidating also, what do white men think of black woman anyways?

As a white guy in rural Wyoming, lol.. I'd have absolutely no problem dating a black woman.

Now her being interested in a rythymless pasty white guy out dancing with her.. is a different problem.

lol

koolbear05, people are only as intimidating as you make them out to be. Underneath the skin we are all remarkably similar. Intimidation is something you construct in your own mind, don't think of white men as white men, just look at them as ordinary human beings.

Every white man has a different point of view regarding black women. I don't have a huge or intrusive awareness of racial differences and so a black woman, to me, is in the same category as everyone else--human. :)

Hi Koolbear,

I am a Asian guy and last weekend I was hitting on a blackwoman. I guess the conversation started by me making a comment. She responded back nicely, so it made it easier to talk to, we spoke for about thirty mins at a club. She introduced me to her friends and I could of gotten her number, but i was a lil buzzed...Lol. I am 25, she might of been around her late 20's. I guess, just be nice.

I am from the San Francisco vincinity, not sure if that makes a difference.

To me, love is love and race does not make a difference.
