RecordProducer
I'll share whatever I know that is fast to make ... 1. Meat with mushroom sauce. Any meat you can sauté or fry with diced onions (into small pieces), mushrooms then add sour cream or one cup of white wine 5 min before it's ready to take it off the heat. It's also good for guests. I learned this in France. 2. Stuffed peppers. Fry ground beef and onions, add spices and mix it with rice that's been cooked separately. Put the mixture inside fresh peppers of any color. Put some olive oil and spaghetti sauce in a big pot (you can add water, too) and place the peppers. If you want a finished look for guests, you can put a slice of tomato as a cap on each pepper. Cook it for an hour or so on medium heat. 3. Mussaka. Cover baking pan with olive oil. Place diced potatoes on the bottom. Then place ground beef fried/sautéed with onions (and diced tomato if you wish) on top of it. You can place one more layer of potatoes and meat above the two layers. Bake it until it's done then spill a mixture of eggs and yogurt on top of it. When it becomes hard, take it out. Don't forget your favorite spices. 4. Spaghetti Bolognese. This is actually for the new cooks, I am sure most of you can make spaghetti. Boil pasta in a pot. If you don't watch your diet, you can put a spoon of butter, margarine or even cream cheese in it either after it's done or while cooking (in the water). In another frying pan, sauté ground beef and onions on a little bit of olive oil. Add spaghetti sauce at the end or pure tomato paste with your favorite spices. Serve with blended Mozzarella cheese. 5. The easiest recipe in the world - pasta with tuna. Just boil some pasta and add tuna from can, spaghetti sauce and cheese on top of it. (Heat the sauce so that the cheese can melt.) 6. Mixed veggies with meat. As it says, mix all kinds of vegetables (potato, tomato, peppers, onions, beans from a can, eggplant, carrots, etc.) and sauté them in olive oil with some ground beef or whatever meat. If you add spaghetti sauce and spices in it, it will taste delicious. As you see, I can't live without this sauce. 7. Burgers with potatoes. I bet some of you didn't know that if you add onion-soup powder and eggs into ground beef, your burgers will taste great. You can add a piece of cheese in the middle of each burger, too. Boil potatoes and add butter or margarine in them. You can add either dill or fried onions and Paprika to make them more "special." 8. Chicken soup. If you're really lazy, you can just put chicken parts, veggies (potatoes and carrots), and rice into water and boil them with some spices. You get a healthy, tasty meal with all the necessary ingredients. I do it quite often. Now your turn!
Woggle
1.Beef Rice-a-Roni, ground beef and Chi-Chi's salsa. Cook the rice and the beef and then mix it all together with salsa at the end. 2.Steak and Rice. Make some steak with onions and Campbells cream of cellary soup. Add in gravy master and make some buttered rice. The steak goes over the rice I will add more as I think of them.

quankanne
bruschetta ... mmmm ... poor man's version is to get a couple of slices of English toating bread (walmart carries it), slightly brown it in your toaster oven, top with a slice of cheese, sliced ripe garden tomatoes and basil, toast it until the mater is tender. As A suggests, it's an excellent summer meal, when it's too damned hot to get into the kitchen. boil up some spaghetti (fettucine or vermicelli work, too), drain well, coat/toss with a bit of olive oil, then add in steamed broccoli bits to the mixture. MMM MMM good. Sometimes we'll throw in grilled chunks o'chicken if we want a meat version. simple quesadilla: heat up a corn tortilla in a pan until it gets tender, then shave cheese onto it, fold in half, eat. can't beat a crockpot for "simple" meal, though: just throw everything in the pot, walk away for six or seven hours and your meal is ready by the time you're ready for dinner! I finally figured out how to make carne guisada, thanks to my crockpot last simple meal suggestion: Convince husband that ice cream is appropriate summer dinner suggestion. Go to Andy's. Order cup of ice cream. Refuse to feel guilty.

Adunaphel
Fry cutted up onion and a clove of garlic(-->to be removed later) in olive oil, add thin strips of smoked salmon, cream and a little worcestershire sauce. Let it fry/boil until it has become quite dense. Use with egg pasta like fettuccine or pappardelle. Another quick pasta recipe I quite like is: fry cuttted up onion and olive oil (possibly add a clover of garlic), add cream, peas and strips of ham. Let it fry for a bit, add pasta(possibly egg pasta), add cheese. (note to self: read some english/american recipe book and learn proper terminology. While talking of cutting up an onion I felt abusive)
