New Start; Dating

Recommended Posts

OK, after going a really crappy breakup, and having an excellent 3 month vacation away from school, I am ready to begin dating.

Thanks to our intramural teams, both of us playing sports, and me working as an athletic trainer, I've begun to talk to this girl. The problem is that I've built up a shell that I find it hard to get out of when I'm with her. I mean, most guys would have put their arms around her when watching a movie. I've watched two and haven't been able to break the shyness/awkward moment part. (Any suggestions?)

Don't get me wrong, I'm the $hit when I open up. However, I'm having a little bit of a problem opening up and telling her that I like her.

It's Friday night. I've got a game tomorrow. So does she. We've got the plan to hang out tomorrow night sometime.

I simply don't want to blow my chances and get moved into the "friends" category.

Well, I've had this problem recently.

Funny because I actually told her how I feel just today. I'd like to tell you it went well but honestly it didn't. I'm not trying at all to discourage you though.

I finally realized the truth that if a girl doesn't like you then they probably never will and it's not worth dwelling. It may feel like she's the only girl you're gonna find like her..and that's true becuase everyone is different, however there will be others in the future.

Just tell her man, or it will bother you until you do. You don't have to confess your undying love or anything like that, just tell her that you like her.

the fact you're hanging out with her already tells her you like her. patience young Jedi, patience...:)
