Parky
Yes it can be done. Heard of the term "Absence makes the heart grow fonder?" Also it depends on the reason why the break up happend. If you spontaneously meet up after a break up months down the line, you can easily fall in love again if you are both attractive to each other. Be the person you was when you both fell in love etc, and it can happen. I know people who split up because the relationship wasnt going anywhere or one person took the other for granted etc and met up a few months down the road and fell in love again. Some of which are now married. So yes, it can happen if it's done right.
blondepanther74
Most defintely! My Grandparents are a very interesting example of this. Married for over 20 years with 4 children, they divorced and married other people. Flash forward another 20 years... After one became a widow and the other divorced their spouse, my Grandpa started asking my Grandma out on dates. It was like watching 2 little lovebirds. They remarried 6 months later. Of course, I'd say that they never got over each other during those 20 years apart. But they did seem to truely be "falling" in love all over again during this past dating stage. I think true love runs very deep. I know that I haven't seen my ex in over 12 years and I love that person to this very day, always will. Real love in the truest sense, never dies, or goes away. It may stay buried deep in your heart, so that you can function and move on, but it will always be there buried in the center of your heart, if it was the real deal. Just my 2 cents.
