Geek Test Results

You are 57.5% geeky.

Not bad. Maybe you spend a little too much time with your computer, but at least you have friends. You do have friends, right?

Take that, suckas.

I got the same damn score...... 57.5% but perhaps I should have gotten much more for being a huge sci fi fan...... go ahead ask me Star Trek questions..... :lmao: :lmao:

I also love gadgets. And would turn down a party invite to finish a worthwhile book.

Do I look like a geek?

How geeky are you?

http://www.matthewbarr.co.uk/geek/

I'm 52% geeky. And I like to dress well and look good. I think more people in touch with their geeky side could do well with improving their looks (not to the point of obsessive vanity, but put some effort in it!) That way, we geeky folk can take over the world! decent looks, charm, good conversation, brains, wit, fascinating interests....who can resist???

I am only 22.5%. Woohoo, under the average, and I am Gonzo.

Did anyone else take the muppet test that followed the geek test?

Nerdy women are the best kept secrets. They are some of the best partners you can find and they usually have a great personality as well. My wife is a nerd and I don't mean that in a bad way either. I think that men sometimes get burned because we look for all the wrong things in a woman. Guys complain about women not wanting nice guys but often times the best women get passed up for some woman that looks like she bought all her body parts.

has no one else noticed this awesome post from woggle?

dude, this is the most forgiving, perceptive and non-judgmental thing i have ever heard you say about women.

have a bunny. :bunny:

55% geeky.

But that's when I'm at my geekiest best.

My "regular" geekometer would register about 40-45%.

Most women are not hotties (physically,) at least in the playboy centerfold sense. I'd bet that if you looked at a hundred women just as they came out of the shower and wearing blank expressions, you'd have no clue how intelligent or well-read they were, and the only fake thing you might spot are boobs.

Or does intelligence automatically keep a lady from being a "hottie" in your mind?

We all have different notions of hot. It's just a guess, but I think alpha's idea of "hot" might be an intelligent woman's idea of "slightly tacky".

I'm 42.5% geeky.

More to the point, it would be an intelligent MAN's idea of 'slightly tacky'.

and what the hell is a bum-bag???

A fanny pack. Utility over fashion...a major faux pas? Or maybe it's more a sign of those that have their sh*t together (and out of reach of pickpockets?).

I THOUGHT that s_g was describing me :) I am 67.5% geeky, I lost some points for not indulging in role playing games...

I am very down to earth, do not wear makeup, very intelligent but not arrogant about it (actually am in Mensa but joined because I thought I would find good employment contacts), well read and well rounded (spelling, public speaking and computer programming awards, voracious reader) and am told very witty, although not on command, so don't contradict me.

I think of what men consider "hot" to mean someone like Pamela Anderson. I get my fair share of looks from strangers, but also know that I appeal to men more the more they get to know me, and to men that are actually more attracted to intelligence and wit than to raw sex appeal. My H says that I am "no slouch" in the looks dept, but I certainly don't ooze sexuality like Ms Anderson or Ms Jolie, etc.

Bottom line is, different strokes for different folks. Luckily for me, I am not attracted to guys who think more of a woman's visual appeal than her personality. So it works out. I just could not imagine myself being with a guy who was into strip clubs, etc. However, I do not begrudge anyone for trying to capitalize on any assets s/he has been gifted with. After all, is there really any better here, or just different? I did not make myself intelligent, that is what I was born with. Others are born with supermodel looks. Do any of us have a right to be snobby toward those who don't have what we have and don't value what we value? Fortunately there is room for everyone, and for most of us, a reasonable pool of people who are attracted to us!
