Tomorrow, I am going to try to get the guy's number I like (mentioned in previous friendship post), from a girl at the training centre, how should I do it (I'm so nervous about asking her!)... 1. Giving her my number to give to him 2. Saying that a friend of mine, wants his number to get back in contact with him. 3. Ask for his number cos I need to talk to him about something. fishtaco Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 Being a guy, this is what the etiquette is as far as I know. Best way is you get the girl's number by asking her directly for it. If you get it from someone else, you better have that girl's permission first. Or alternately you can offer up your number. Since you are a woman asking for a man's number, I'm not sure if these rules apply. To be safe, I'd go with #1, maybe you can talk to the girl privately. #2 is a lie, bad way to start things off. #3 breaks the etiquette I mentioned above, so maybe it's okay since you're a woman, but maybe not. But didn't find out until later today after I had given her my no that he will be at the training centre on Friday, I thought he had left for good. This is going to be embarassing! Had a strange day, was invited out for a drink, found out that a lot of the guys at the training centre are attracted to me! Was told that I am respected, and called beautiful, good but surreal day!
