MsBlink
I've gotten excited about a new college after two years of being out of a traditional 4-year and picking up a trade along the way. I left the college I was at because I didn't want to be there AT ALL (my parents picked it for me....looooong, sad story) but have always had intentions of returning to a school of my choice. The college, however, offers an associate degree in the career field I'm striving to succeed in. I told my mother about my interest, and she responded with a little skepticism. Seems like in her eyes I never make an educated decision about my life unless she interjects. Do I piss her off (again) with my decision and go for it, or do I settle and attend a school she feels comfortable with in order to keep the peace, as I still do live at home? As of right now, I do not believe her and my father are going to be of any financial assistance for my schooling this time around--they've already given so much! ~MsBlink
