"her name was Lola, she was a showgirl...." Really? No, not really. D

D-Lish
POISON! Yes! I wanted Brett Michaels to "Talk dirteeee to meee". Yipee. Yes, I do think all that hairspray could have messed us up... I sure did my part to deplete the ozone, that's for sure. Aqua-net... It was like concrete for yer hair.

D-Lish
heehee. You have to understand RR- us Canadians lead a strange existance! Too much info with the Brett Michaels crush eh?? I guess I should hold back from admitting that when I was a young girl growing up in the cold Canadian winters that I used to kiss my pillow and pretend it was Wayne Gretzky? Oh, how I slay myself! D
Author Ruff Ryder
I think that should just about explain it then..... Cold winter nights and kissng pillows? Are you a hopless romantic then too? Well I cant relate never had a crush on a boy/man in my life.... hahahaha Been a couple of lady super stars but that passed with time. D-Lish
I am most definetely a hopeless romantic! A little broken hearted and jaded at the moment over my ex I must admit...but those feeling will pass. It's been six weeks of NC and each day I feel a little better and get a little stronger. One day at a time right?
Author Ruff Ryder
Well Im not tore up about the ex anymore. The pain is no longer there but I do miss somethings about her. Been dating again and doing my own thing but nothing great to mention yet. Dont think Im letting myself fall for a girl again. Then there is the added thing of me leaving South Africa in a 3 weeks to live in the UK so I dont want to fall for a girl here. I couldnt handle leaving if I did. With you yes time will make it better in fact it is the only thing that can, Im a complete romanic love it. To see the look on a lovers face when you pullout all the stops for them to make everything perfect is just very furfilling to me.... Well I suppose one day some time and place Ill find the girl that wants that and ill fall madly in love with her and live my life the way I want to. D-Lish you sound very confident, hurt but confident thats a good thing so just be you and have fun doing it and mr right will come to you. If not i still marry you. lol
D-Lish
RR: It's wonderful that you aren't jaded after your experience- that you still forsee a future with lots of love and romance in it. I know it will happen for you! Me? I am a teeny-tiny bit jaded right now... I am definetely getting my confidence back. I've had some dates too- but nothing to write home about. I am completely fine with being alone with myself though. When I'm ready, I'll put myself back out there... You must be counting the days until you leave! Yeah, getting involved with someone when you know you are leaving probably wouldn't be the best idea! I would love to have the freedom to pick up and move around like you... but I have puppies and a business. Someday though, I'd like to do that. Thanks for the ego boost:love: And for the record- I'm an excellent cook:D but I'm cranky in the morning... coffee please! haha. D-lish
Author Ruff Ryder
I have a house car and buisness so but the buisness taks care of itself.... Yea im counting the days cant hardly wait....... As for cooking I can cook to wanted to be a ched in my younger years so I stuidies it but never took the profsion. I was jaded for almost a year..... It hurts but gts better. I thinkyou with yur attitude in life will get very far and make something good happen for yourself. What buisness do you have? Puppies I had 3 but my ex won the coustdy case lol. Youll be happy and the best thing is you said you are happy by yourself and tats a big step for anyon to get at.
D-Lish
My business? I own a lingerie store.... I am a professional bra fitter... Honestly! haha. You? :-) I also won custody of my pups with my ex.... but they were kinda always my dogs anyways, even though we got them together 7 years ago. Confidence can take you a long way in life- sometimes just pretending to be confident even when you're not feeling that way is a good way to fool yourself into feeling better! You sound pretty together and confident yourself. What have you been doing in South Africa? Where are you from originally? D
Author Ruff Ryder
Im in marketing.... My buisness is a combernation of 21 trust companies all owning property and living off the investiments. Kind o like D Trump but smaller much smaller. I also do marketing for several large scale companies in various countries. Im from Ireland orrigonally but lived in S.A most of my life. Been in the UK lived there a bit too. My ex was so crazy about the puppies it would have killed her if I kept them so I gave them to her.... Didnt want her to hurt. Im all confidence its madness but in my line of work you need to be so its a skill that I have used for years. So heres the deal I think we need to swop jobs for a little while I could be a pro bra fitter I know all about bra's and the best ways to remove them. lol
D-Lish
Ha! And I know a whole lot about charming the pants off investors!! (okay, not really) but I bet it would be a good switch! lol. Are you on MSN? If you are I should PM you my contact info!
