I cannot stand holy rollers, they are worse than terrorists and murders.

People who quote verses from the bible make me want to roll my eyes.

If I already stated I was an atheist, why would they think it's necessary to quote things from the bible to me? Like I care??

I belong to the church of the rising Poptart. :) Thus I am a Tart.... not a tard.......the two are often confused by those that are not edified about our religion.

Oh holy Poptart, bless us on this morning. Bring forth warm toastiness into our life. We thank thee for thy fruity filling and the love of your crispiness.....

Cast out ye Toaster Strudel. Take venenge on the fat dough boy and keep our house safe from the one who attempt to throw tube biscuits at us and harm our body and soul.

The eggo, the breakfast biscuit, and the holy cream of wheat.

(or milk, milk, lemonade, this is where the fudge is made)

amen.......

I'm considering converting. I never laughed so hard in church. Well , maybe I did on second thought, but it was muffled.:lmao:

sorry, no it won't. heaven is the state of consciousness of spiritual beings who have ascended their ties to the material realm. animals don't have what you would call an individual soul that survives death. they have part of a collective soul which cannot on an individual basis ascend to heaven.

Not wanting to split hairs on this…

I do know God gave us animals and they have a way of comforting us and giving us their unconditional love.

It doesn’t matter if we are having a bad day or not…

I do not believe I ask amiss according to my own personal lust. (James 4:3)

It is not lust of the flesh, to ask this… It is love from heart.

These creatures are Gods gifts to us.

To pray them into Heaven is individual choice.

Standing on the promises of God.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

(John 14:14)

Also as for animals not having a place in Heaven not bearing souls.

Know that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will appear… on a *horse.

Followed by saints on horseback.

So we do know there are animals in heaven… *horses at least.

If a horse is welcome and is already in Heaven… so wouldn’t our pets?

They have hearts and do love us.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white *horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Revelation 19:11

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white *horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Revelation 19:14

A horse lover… I take note and wonder just how many horses the Lord does have in His Kingdom?

I do not believe I ask amiss according to my own personal lust. (James 4:3)

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

(John 14:14)

We can pray our beloved animals into heaven.

There are many animals in the new world…

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 11:6

I am praying mine are there with me… I believe we all have that privy… to pray them into Heaven with us.

Iinteresting as my own teachings (as varied as they have been, and I certainly do not speak of any particular faith.) have led me to believe that animals do not ascend into Heaven.

But I'm glad that your teachings do, I like that idea better.

Hi, sister, I love this one!:D

Right on sis, through faith.

Mat: 7:7 'Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;

8 for every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.

9 'Or what man is of you, of whom, if his son may ask a loaf—a stone will he present to him?

10 and if a fish he may ask—a serpent will he present to him?

11 if, therefore, ye being evil, have known good gifts to give to your children, how much more shall your Father who 'is' in the heavens give good things to those asking him?

God Bless.

Okay...what makes you think that?

There is this animal burial place near us and I can't help but wonder why someone would pay money for something like that. There are flowers and everything.

Put them in a shoe box. Cheap and easy.

Oh I just dig a hole in the back yard and throw dirt on top...

I pray for them to go to heaven...

I don't understand you. seems your god is not my Loving God. bye bye

Understanding; Salvation and being Saved is more important than any other word of God.

Why? Saved you belong to Christ.

All the rest is to be known without doubt when we see Him.

How’s that…for knowing the same loving God?

:lmao: :lmao: Maybe that is why I find the Flying Spaghetti Monster more appealing than any other god to believe in. But that also involves pirates, beer volcanoes, and strippers....... :D

I am not missing a thing without a make believe entity in my life. I am much more surprised by the kind acts of mankind, they are miracles themselves. A shame they are not more frequent, but perhaps that is why they seem so miraculous? To have faith in mankind is much harder than to have faith in anything the mind could create to explain why we exist, or the good and bad deeds of our species. Although it would be easier to pin that responsibility on a entity instead of ourselves.

For four years I believed in Santa...... he was my god, as he fulfilled my wishes. How we use such entities to fulfill our needs, and all the time we have the power to fulfill those needs ourselves. I think for some that is much too hard to face and take responsibility for the outcome.......thus we put it in a "gods" hand to decide.

Interesting how a god replaces a parent. Perhaps a gap some feel the need to fill. But hey, whatever floats your ark. Good for you. :)

a4a,

Trust no man… Mankind will always let us down.

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Psalm 146:3

What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

To have faith in mankind is much harder than to have faith in anything the mind could create to explain why we exist, or the good and bad deeds of our species. Although it would be easier to pin that responsibility on a entity instead of ourselves.

There IS a God The Sharon Ast story

This link is little insight on how many loose God somewhere in their lives.

The Sharon Ast story is one of many like stories on the net; I hope you enjoy the ending.

http://www.secretsofsuccess.com/people/ast_sharon.html

When Sharon came to, she was still alone. She doesn’t know why, but all at once she realized there was a God, there was love - and it was in that coffin.

not interested in Sharon or any such stories...... I would rather be caulking. But I have faith that you will continue to pester people with your religious rants (directed to me, as my name is on your post) even though individuals like me have zero interest in your message...... see faith in mankind does pan out! :lmao:

Sorry but no interest. Back to the caulk gun- its more interesting to me. :D

Same here no interest, stop wasting valuable posting spaces with the religious nonsense, it's serves no purpose other than being slightly annoying. Maybe try learning something scientific that will reverse the brainwashing or something, like studying flying pop tarts.

Loneybird,

How can you stand on Gods word and denounce another professed Christian without reason?

Lets say I proclaimed Satan was my father… wouldn’t you still want to talk to me and see if there was any light you could shed upon my eyes in my darkness?

You as a follower of Christ; now discount me in your ministry of Gods word?

What have I said that’s tells you I am not of the same father you are of?

If am a lost sheep… isn’t it your job as one of Christs to shed light upon my path that I might see my error?

You who carries the torching word of your Father in Heaven…why don’t you awaken me, to my error in the Lord?

Again...I am asking why you said this;

[ “ I don't understand you. seems your god is not my Loving God. bye bye”]

Hi, Love hurts,

you are haunting me:p

Okay, I am sorry. I don't agree your method. and I don't undertand "flood came and took all away" comment. something like

"A boy stealed a cat from neighor, his parent punished him because they love him very much."

but now if you cut the front part, only show people

"His parent punished him". what would other people think of this parent?

As I remember Jesus showed great love to people first

The previous story I did not read… my focus on this line…

now be nice to the fundamental christians. they're slightly odd but they're people too! ]

Yes then I added... and they did not know till the flood came and took all away; so shall be also the presence of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:39

I see what it is... You think I’m too rough…Perhaps? I have been told that before.

I have been told not to mention Hell, Rapture, Tribulation events, the Attributes of Satan or Demons…. so not to frighten anyone.

I know … I find it difficult to not touch on all bases and let the word land where it will.

Lonelybird, you are who you are in the body of Christ;

likewise so am I…if I get myself in hot water over the word of God…then its on my head… not yours.

I see it like this… even the Church is Luke Warm right now… If the church is Luke Warm… where do you think the unbelievers are?

Every one of these people that are yet unsaved has a soul that is hanging in the balance of Heaven or Hell.

Listen to this:

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father,

that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may.. *testify unto *them,

lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them.. *hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they… *hear not Moses and the prophets,

neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

The rich man in Hell said go to my fathers house tell my five brothers

of this place that it is real. A voice from Hell says tell them.

I will, I see us on a new clock… the Signs of the Times have come and are here... 666 of Rev. in here… its in our generation.

We are the people that have lived to see it come to pass.

As I remember Jesus showed great love to people first...

How much more love can I show…

than in telling or reminding others their very soul hangs in eternal balance?

I do apologize for missing your and disrupting your story Lonelybird… cat lover here.

Your sister in Christ

I think fear could shut down people further, they don't believe God in the first place, neither they ever read Bible. but maybe you are right. you are a warning bell :D

According the the UK Census data 2001 on the question of religion:

The number of people who stated "Jedi Knight" as their religion was 390,000 (0.7 per cent of the population).

Which, incidentally, was greater than the number of people who answered Buddhist, Jewish or Sikh.

I've been wondering where all those Jedi Knights are living...they've all moved to the UK!
