agnf666
I swear every damn time I go get my eyebrows waxed, I seem to always get these little bumps like pimples were it has been waxed. Has anyone else expierenced this? Is there anything I can put on it to make that crap go away. I have tried soo much stuff and none of it is working... Ugh!
blind_otter
Exfoliate your face using a washcloth or something equally gentle. I'll email my hairstylist and ask her for you, though.
Author agnf666
Thanks. I was reading online it might be the calming cream that they use or something. I don't know. It sucks. My eyebrows look good but them damn bumps are horrible. I have this face mask stuff I'm going to try on it later maybe that will help it out. Sometimes I don't get the bumps other times I do. blind_otter
calming cream? i think that's the problem. when I get waxed she just rips the hair out and lets me whimper.
Author agnf666
Well, she put some crap on when she first did it and then she did after she did it. I think the last stuff she put on was the kicker. I think I told one person that did it to me that I get these little bumps after this and it's a pain and she used this stuff for dry/sensitive skin. The crap still give me little bumps. I mean, how are you suppose to rock hot looking eyebrows with bumps. haha.
Sand&Water
Agnf666, Have you tried to pluck, rather than wax? Try to obtain a frozen food package from your freezer. Apply the package to the red bumps, and/or pimples. This should help tremendously [or at least it does for me]. Regards, Sand&Water
Author agnf666
I really dislike plucking my eyebrows. Waxing is easier for me. Yeah I think I might try to put something from my freezer on this.
Guest
Maybe next time take a lotion of your own that you know you're not allergic to.
Author agnf666
Honestly, I'm not sure if I was allergic to the lotion or stuff that they were using. Or I just might have senstive skin. I think witch hazel might help my problem.

I think witch hazel might help my problem. Well here's what my stylist told me: The answer is that it depends on her skin. Always wash with normal face wash immediately after getting waxed. Wax contains mineral oil and castor oil which clog pores. The products used to remove excess wax also contain irritating fragrance and color.
IpAncA
I've had the same thing happen to me before. I have sensitive skin so there was a reaction the the stuff that was being used. It used to just come and go for me but now I just pluck instead. That way I don't have to worry about it again.
Author agnf666
Thanks Blind_Otter, The bumps have seemed to clear up a good bit. I still have a good bit of them. My face looks like there is some kind of disease going on on my eyebrow. It's just wonderful. I think im going to try and keep up with the plucking so that I don't have to go through this crap everytime.
