Guest Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 someone was talking about this the other day - about how great it would be to simply have 'sex partner' - no strings attached. and almost everybody in the room cheered - and agreed that they would be able to be in such a relationship and would find it beneficial. and it made me think back to the time i had just ended a 20 relationship with a woman and how i 'contemplated' doing that very same thing. now remember, i got married early in life 18 so when my marriaged ended, i had been with the same woman for over 20 years - if there every was a candidate for such a 'job' - it was me. and seeing that i am someone that can usually put theory into practice, low and behold i found a woman who wanted the very same thing. she was attractive, and open and offered me any type of experience i wanted and it was at that moment that is realized it wasn't sex i wanted in my life i wanted companionship and a connection where sex meant making love - so her and i never did something sexually because what she gave me was the awareness of who i really am and how special love is.
