everlong
There is one place, above all, where trust is rebuilt or built in a relationship and that is – HOME. In order to do anything right, couples and families need a place that meets their needs, meets their uniqueness and on that provides them with a safe, loving place to grow physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. And if you have children it is even more important. It is the adults responsibility to develop healthy relationships and pass them down to our children and show them just how one builds a trusting and loving relationship with another caring adult. We need to carry with us the knowledge that our child loves us above all others and benefits from the loving care of many people. Our child looks to us to know whether the relationship is a safe one. By creating a trusting, meaningful relationship with our children, we provide the #1 model for our child. We give them permission to build positive relationships outside our family, with teachers and with future bf/gf.
