Friends after 2/3 weeks?

Well my boyfriend wanted a break from our relationship and said he needed 2 weeks to sort himself out, he orignally said he wanted to end it because there was too much pressure and didnt feel good in himself and it was nothing to do with me. But then we left it as a break, his choice and i agreed.

 

We had been together almost 9monhs, in that time went on holiday to the US.

 

After 2 weeks of being on the break i heard nothing from him, so i text him and said ' i think when we meant a break it was meant as over and obvious we arent meant to be' something like that and he came back straight away saying he agreed and he wasnt the right one for me right now.

 

So we talked online a couple of days after that he said he did want to end it but didnt have the bottle etc etc.

A week after that he suggested we go on lunch and i said ok so he said he would contact me, i didnt hear from him until i saw him online again a week later and he asked why he hadnt heard from me and what had i been doing and why was i so busy, he then said about doing lunch again, i said i cant do this week, he then text me the morning after to say he could do any day for lunch, so we met up last week he acted normal and happy, dropped in stuff like we should go to a concert together and the flat is cold with out me.

 

He then said we should go out after work and not in a lunch break so we dont have a time limit, i said ok and then he kissed me on the cheek goodbye, he seemed happy to see me.

He then text me seconds after i left him saying it was good to see you, i have missed you, we should go out sometime next week after work, i replied a day later sayin, it was good to see you, thanks for the drink.

Didnt get a reply from that which i expected.

 

Im wondereing what his text really meant and also will i hear from him this week. IA didnt want to contact him about going out this week cause i dont want to seem eagar and i still think its early days to know what i want. Im a confused bunny and hes confusing me!
