happydude
:( So heres the deal..i’ve just turned 16 and come from a very conservative asian family..(><)…I’m guessing you already know how this will go so just bear with me… after years and years in front of books, I’ve realized theres something missing in my life…girls!!.lolz.. but the thing is my super conservative parents don’t even discuss anything about girls, sex, etc with each other , so I feel as if I’m obligated not to get involved in that stuff till I move out…you know what I mean? Anyway, I’d like to ask a girl out (ANY girl) but I’m scared that there won’t be anywhere we could go out …cause I’ll probably chicken out telling my parents about her (as in I’d be embarrassed:sick:)….i don’t know if anyone has been in this situation, but if they have, could they (or anyone else ftm!) please advise me on how to overcome this fear, and how I should approach this situation? :bunny:
lizzielou
Are you an only child? Maybe you can start things out by studying with her or going out with her and a group of friends. It always helps to have your friends around as back up to make you feel more confident.
