babymouse
Sorry if I am posting in the wrong spot however I do not know where to post. I am also wondering if anyone after 10 years of getting this done if they untie on there own would you feel pain? thanking you all

I've read that reversal is possible but difficult and often unsuccessful. They don't 'tie' your tubes like in a knot. They burn them or cut them or sometimes put a plastic clip on them. None of these things can come 'undone'. If you're asking because you have pain, then go see a doctor because it's not due to the tubal.
norajane
It's called tubal ligation (not litigation - that's a lawsuit), and it's a permanent form of birth control. Surgery to reverse it can sometimes be done, but it's difficult, expensive, and doesn't always work. If you're thinking of having the procedure done, don't do it if you may want kids in the future. Depending on the type of surgery, the fallopian tubes are cut, burned, or blocked with rings, bands or clips. I thinks there's a tiny possibility for the tubes to repair themselves if they've only been cut - especially with younger women - but it's not common, and I can't see why that would hurt. If you get pain, it could be an ectopic pregnancy - where the pregnancy occurs in the tube - and that's very dangerous...needs medical care immediately.
