coejessie
Okay, so i am looking for advice i guess. My boyfriend and I are 20 and have been together for 1 1/2 years. Things were always great we are doing long distance (1 hour away) while I am at school. We have a puppy together and have never had any problems. Recently (last two weeks) I have been distant and have initiated a lot of fighting. I was angry that he took a job as a bouncer and thought if I was mean and distant he would quit ( I realize this was wrong) Well, on Friday I was home and did not come see him - we were talking throughout the night, but he didnt come home when he said he was. The next day I found out that he kissed a girl after hanging up on me during our last fight. She came up to him and kissed him and he responded. He then asked her to sit in his car and she kissed him again - he told her he couldnt do anything and asked her to leave. He has been crying and claims it was a mistake and that he loves me, but that I made him feel so unappreciated that he didnt know how to react to someone giving him attention and thinking he was something great. I want to take him back, but i dont know if his actions are unforgivable. Any advice or suggestions, please let me know - all I want is our relationship to go back to normal. PS - he was drinking that night and quit his job for me - WHAT SHOULD I DO!
hersheykiss
If you feel like you can forgive him, you should. At least, if this is a rare occurance and he is genuinely sorry.
norajane
Sounds like he really does regret what happened - he quit his job! It's worth giving him another chance, but only if you can communicate better with him when something is bothering you. Passive-aggressive behavior - being mean and distant - isn't going to help resolve whatever you are upset about and will likely make it worse, as you've seen.
