Author sassiex
You beat me to this. It's not that a 40 year old mother can't be a pole dancer, but I question what you are teaching your kids. Having an affair with a MM is bad enough, but working as a pole dancer just makes me wonder what the kids are learning. Or is it what the kids don't know won't hurt them? Think again if you believe that. so now im a really bad person , firstly because im having an affair with a mm and now because of my job !!! give me a break will you this site is for support and not for others to judge !!! maybe your just jealous....or are you a scorned wife ? i bring my kids up fine thanks they have agood life and my job does not come into it !!! besides my kids dont know AND SO WHAT IF THEY DO...WHAT THE ****S IT GOT TO DO WITH YOU !! AT LEAST I MAKE HONEST MONEY !! i have anice home ,we have an aupair, good holidays and anice car, without out this job id have nothing...........no child support from ex and no help from my dear mum as she passed away !! dont be so quick to judge.........bet your nor perfect!!!!!! Author sassiex
Sorry, but all Sass has said is she's a pole dancer!! nothing else. All a pole dancer does is dance round a pole by definition and shake her a$$ as bit, whats the difference between that and a dancer at la folie berger or a show girl at vegas, or cant they be mothers either!!! Also you seem to be questioning her ability to be a mother just because of this job and therefore seems to be getting slightly personal. Would you rather she was just sitting at home waiting for hand outs from the social services, like it would be very easy to do being a single mother, certainly in this country anyway. Do you think she should sit and wait for her ex-partner/husband to provide money, sorry, UK is absolutely crap for helping people get maintenance from partners!! People over here have had to put up with the Child Support Agency for the last few years. Perhaps she should ask her MM to provide money for her!!! Oh no, sorry, forgot, thats being discussed on another thread already lets forget that one. A normal 9-5 desk job, well nursery care costs usually exceeds the price of a normal salary, bearing in mind she lives in London, so unless you would need to have family back-up support to do this for you. So all I can say is good luck to her for trying her best to support her children. It might not be ideal but this is not a perfect world. thanks for that nearly there, those posts really pissed me off !!!! we english are a bit different come on here looking for support and you get stabbed in the neck !! thanx again; hope your ok hun sass xxx:bunny:

Think again if you believe that. lol I wasn't even questioning that although i agree with. I just can't imagine being a pole dancer at 40. I think of a pole dancer as a young woman in college working for good money while she finishes her education or a young woman who is really down and out and can't find anything else that pays enough. Not something a mother of 4 would do. You ladies were just talking about how you don't bash..........this kind of looks like it to me. I really wish the mods would step in and do something about all of this because this is just rediculous. Nearlythere said it well. She's working her butt off to support her children. I guess if she was a doctor, you'd have something horrible to say about that as well. This is NOT support. This is being downright cruel. I could not be a pole dancer myself, not because of the profession, i'm not overly graceful!!! Although i look amazing, i would find myself planting my nose in the floor after every twirl!!! Ladies, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Ladies, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Hey, I speak about this from experience. My sister in law was a pole dancer and her very nice boyfriend broke up with her because he didn't like the crowd she was hanging with at her high class club. I have seen the pain that this profession caused her. Thankfully she never got her kids involved. We can only speak about what we know and I understand that I don't know you, I am only speaking from my experience. But as always, it's your life and I really have no vested interest in how you live it. And by the way, I didn't say anything bad about a 40 year old being a pole dance, my only comment was about kids being exposed to it.
herenow
Just one more note in this thread. I'm sorry if my opinion about kids and pole dancing was hurtful to anyone. I was just stating my opinion and nothing else. I don't expect people to agree with me here, but in the future I will keep opinions to myself if they go against a persons lifestyle. I can see how that would have been taken as bashing.

I thought it was a bit personal as well but hey, sometimes its best to try and let it wash over you, the diff with yours was it was specifically at you. It was posted on here earlier that OW are "behaving in an irresponsible, selfish, egotistical way" and we sometimes need to be told. I was going to reply and you know what I thought "oh f*ck it I cant be arsed". I know that I am none of those things, just to check my interpretation of them was right, looked it up knew it was not applicable so left it at that. Went down the tanning salon at lunchtime today to top up my tan a bit, trying to keep myself cheerful, not feeling so good this week, hey ho, life goes on. Looking foward to tomo night, got a girlie night at a mates house, wine etc. Might even treat myself to a bacardi breezer, . Then Thursday/Friday, off to Birmingham, Saturday/Sunday my friend from Leeds is staying over. Only 5 weeks till xmas!!! NTxx

puddleofmud
Personally, I don't see anything wrong w/ being a pole dancer. I couldn't do it, even if I looked that good at 40-ISH myself. *ha-ha, wish-whish! But whose to say what another must do or would do in someone else's shoes? Many person have difficult jobs which may affect their children yet it doesn't affect them unless one lets it. Many have what some could call "respectable" jobs, yet are more concerned about their careers which negatively affects their family. Lastly, such professions would not exist if there weren't a market; across the world thousands and thousands of men pay good money to observe who certainly are not all of the single variety and unfortunately many establishments do not particularly provide safe environments for their female employees. I am more concerned with the latter.
