Star Gazer
Back in the day of Xenadrine (the one WITH ephedra) I had SOOO much energy (likely due to the ephedra, duh) and loved how motivated I was - motivated to work out, motivated to be active, get out of the house, just generally motivated and energetic to do things and not be a lazy ass sitting on my rump. I want that feeling back, and only get it with a lot of coffee (which I HATE). Does anyone have any other alternatives...supplements, vitamins, etc? Something SAFE??
magichands
and not be a lazy ass sitting on my rump. Rumps are comfortable to sit on, so I understand your predicament. How's your diet? I would suggest eating more raw, unprocessed stuff (but not meat, haha).
whichwayisup
Load up on Vitamin C, B12, and daily multi-vitamin. Drink lots of water, eat well, sleep well and do some yoga before you go to bed at night. Doing yoga at night gives you energy in the morning. *makes note to myself to do yoga before bed...* LOL! magichands
Load up on Vitamin C, B12, and daily multi-vitamin. I have no beef with supplements, but remember that they're called "supplements" for a reason. Because they're not a substitute for a sensible diet. The multi might have the other stuff in it, so careful you don't OD.
whichwayisup
If you take multi-vitamins daily, follow the directions on the bottle. Usually it's two tablets daily with a meal. Vitamin C you can have as much as you want, whatever your body doesn't process will comeout in the bathroom.. ofcourse having a well balanced meal is important, and keep your blood sugars up too. Small healthy snacks between meals helps. Yoghurt, nuts, fruit etc...
Guest
Unfortunately, human bodies don't necessarily work as well naturally as they do on drugs. Which is one of the reasons some people get addicted. By all means follow the advice you've gotten but you may never have quite as much energy. Taking stimulants is like revving your engine - you can only do it for so long and it's not really good for the machine.
Guest
become a vegan!!! before i did i used to need naps, never have any energy, be tired all day, etc. (and i wan't even eating meat, had been a vegetarian for 11 years). as soon as i became a vegan my energy levels went through the roof, i practically bounce around all the time, it's awesome!!!! also, it will help prevent tons of problems (high cholesterol, cancer, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, and more!) and it helps save the environment and thousands of poor animals who are tortured and murdered needlessly.
