Dance Floors

Recommended Posts

How exactly are you meant to 'pick up' girls as it were on a dance floor? I was in the situation to do it last night, we were both dancing pretty close and she kept trying to find me when I was dancing but I didn't know how to 'bridge the gap' as it were.

Do you just move really close? Make physical contact, both? I don't have a clue, does anyone ever actually do this?

Thanks in advance

JohnM as always.

You don't want to scare her by making physical contact without her consent.

Just dance near her and make eye contact and if she is interested, she will let you know.

So after you make eye contact and then lets say a smile, what then? Just maintain the distance or move in?

If she gives you a nice smile and nice eye contact, she should give you some indication to move on in.

Oh another thing, it seems its pretty easy doing this when theres only say 1-3 girls but what about when the girls in a group? I'd find it a bit intimidating to go dance in a big group of em! :D

You and many others.

Back in my single days, I was always too shy to attempt that one.:o

If a female was ever interested in me and she was in a group, she always left the group and came over to talk to me.

I prefer a more casual setting bar, where I can sit and strike up a conversation with a female.

I mean I'd be alright dancing next to their group but to go dance in their group is a bit much :D

I'll take your points onboard, many thanks for the tippages!

Men and women percieve dance differently. For men, it is a way to pick up women. For women it is an expression of sensuality.

Which means, you may pretty much be able to be all over her on the dance floor and she may not give a rats a$$ about you personally.
