sunflowerz
Have you ever posted on LS and then regretted it because you think that someone you know may recognize what you posted about? I don't know if this happened to me. I thought about it and realized that the man I wrote about in my first LS thread would recognize the situation, due to very specific subsequent events. Well, he would if he were a member or even a guest anyway. I won't go into any detail here about what I wrote in that thread. Maybe, I'm worrying about nothing, but this man has been acting very different lately. It's almost as if he knows exactly how I feel about him, which I wrote about in that post. Hopefully, this is not the case. Of course the odds that he even visits LS or read this post are low, but who knows? I mean this is a popular site. Has something like this ever happened to anyone else?
magichands
Haha...it's not THAT popular. Don't let your thoughts run away like galloping brumbies.
Pink Amulet
Lots of people know I post on her- I guess if they were sad and pathetic they might be reading my posts Checking up on me, being voyuers, maybe seeing if I mention them... *waves at them* I couldn't care less. I suppose if you were a private person, and needed to use specific events and examples relevant to receiving accurately pointed help on LS you could change your location and alter irrelevant points. There are so many forums, usernames, and posts on the web, you would have to be pretty unlucky to get caught out by someone undesirable.
Jane Doe
Yeah, I think about it. That's why I use the posting name that I do.
lone she-wolf
I only regret it when so few respond, but I'm sure thats "my fault" somehow.
remedylane
I think about this happening. But in the end I'm powerless to do anything about it so I'd hope they can understand if they did see my posts.
superfreak
I think about that happening. A LOT. Especially when I have a lot of emotional baggage tied up with a particular post. My first one on here, I was convinced that the guy I was madly in crush with had read my post, and was responding to it by being vaguely weird. Turns out it was all in my head (HA! he doesn't even have internet access), and, frankly, if he DID read it and put all the signs together and figured out that it was truly about him, that would be the funniest thing on Earth. It's just... It's just too danged random.
