hey, um, i like this chick and im a bit confused cause her friend keeps asking me why I don't you ask her out so i understand the concept of asking her to the movies etc but what do i say to ask her if she wants to be my gf

any help like about asking her to be my girlfriend thinks.

Just say exactly that: Will you be my girlfriend?

and I've known her for few weeks now but haven't been on dates or anything
