Have A Nice Holiday To All

Recommended Posts

In America, Thursday (November 24) is Thanksgiving Day...when we are supposed to express our gratitude for whatever we are thankful for...it's an individual thing.

Our members and guests who are in other parts of the world may have absolutely no idea what this "have a nice holiday" business is about.

I prefer Turkey Day.

That's what I'm most thankful for.

I don't like gravy. Do you know what gravy is? Disgusting.

do you see gravy as a greenish color?

i have a guy-friend who sees browns as greens, and as a result, he does not like gravy.

How interesting. I would think that linking gravy to diarrhoea would be a bigger problem than linking gravy to green puke.

I just don't like gravy. Do you know what gravy is? Disgusting.

No...what IS gravy? Meat juice?

I think gravy meat juice tastes much better on my mashed potatoes than some other meat juice I can think of....

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! :bunny:

I'm almost afraid to ask...what are jacket potatoes?

And um, you never answered my question: What IS gravy?

Disgusting.

I am of Italian descent. We call spaghetti sauce 'gravy' in my family.

Oh, my meat gravy is not disgusting either, BTW, you just have to drain off most of the fat, but you need a little fat for flavor. And you have to brown up the goopy stuff before making gravy, or else I see your point of how it could be described as disgusting. That stuff has almost a lavender color to it.

There's a reason they call it "descent."

But I guess I could learn to love your gravy. I'm definitely an acquired taste.

Sunday is pasta day . And you are always welcome at my dinner table! Just please don't call it 'sauce' ;)

My other descent is Irish...'sauce' has a whole 'nother meaning to ME! :)
