Author luvtoto
I read these books years ago. True or not, I love what God in the book stands for. Yea, me too. I read a few pages every night before I go to bed. I like the part where God tells the man this, "Now why would I create an imperfect man and then expect him to live perfectly?" I don't feel as though I need to be a perfect person in order to make Him love me. UNLIKE what some religions teach.
UCFKevin
That's precisely why I really liked the book. Whether it's real or not, I sure hope it's real.
Guest
That God is not vengeful, vindictive, or keeping track of our every wrong. Waiting to punish us on judgement day. God is love. You don't need this guy to tell you that. All you have to do is read the New Testament. Jesus asks us over and over again to love and forgive one another. It was my understanding that God spoke through him. Be EXTREMELY wary of anyone who makes that claim. David Koresh said the same thing. There are lots of absolute lunatics who have said the same thing. You can't put faith in people like this. Enjoy what he tells you, but don't act on it as if it were the word of God directly. I kinda understand the reasoning of those people in Waco that sacrificed themselves for God. I mean, the book puts very little value on human life. Yes, well they're not the first bunch of people to place faith in a charlatan and lose their lives because of it. Koresh claimed to channel God or be God or something equally insane. Which is why you MUST regard anyone saying he's a messenger of God with great caution. Heck, the Pope never even says that!!!! I have never believed in organized religions using fear to keep people paying to go to their churchEs. Not all religions do that. I'm sorry you've encountered ones that do. pureinheart
In reading about two pages of the first book, realized he was not talking to the God that I serve. Keep in mind, a lot of people make a lot of money by calling it "God".....
lonelybird
you have to have conversation with God by yourself to find out if it is true or not. and Bible is like a door, open Bible like opening door, throught it when you ask, God would put answers in your heart God IS love. not hate. God love you wether you believe it or not one night I cried out to ask God why he put me in a bad situation I don't want, then suddenly answer was there. that I myself put myself into that situation, I made bad decisions based on bad resourses. when I stop resist God, suddenly I got peace.
